In view of the dispute over US control over Greenland, according to an insider, advisors to President Donald Trump have already met with envoys from Denmark and Greenland. The meeting between representatives of the National Security Council in the White House with Danish Ambassador Jesper Moller Sorensen and Greenland’s chief representative in Washington, Jacob Isbosethsen, took place on Thursday, a Danish government official who wished to remain anonymous told the Reuters news agency. The aim was to obtain more clarity about the USA’s statements on Greenland. The White House did not initially confirm the meeting.
