Emails from Jeffrey Epstein reveal incriminating details about Donald Trump. He is said to have at least been aware of Epstein’s criminal activities.

Emails from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein published by the US Democrats in the House of Representatives incriminate US President Donald Trump. Trump and Epstein’s acquaintance has been known for years. However, Trump always maintained that he was neither involved in Epstein’s crimes nor did he know about them or Epstein’s sexual preferences.

The emails that have now been published paint a different picture. In a message to journalist Michael Wolff, Epstein wrote about Trump: “Of course he knew about the girls.” In another email, Wolff and Epstein discuss together what “answer we can give him” if Trump is asked about Epstein by journalists. It is also discussed how Epstein could later use Trump’s answer – for example, to publicly embarrass him or to make Trump dependent on Epstein.

In another email to his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein wrote about Trump: “I want you to understand that Trump is the one dog who didn’t bark.” This sentence is possibly a reference to the Sherlock Holmes story “Silver Blaze”. In this case, the detective derives an important clue from the fact that a dog did not bark during a crime: the dog did not react – because it knew the perpetrator.

Epstein also wrote to Maxwell about one of his victims: “She spent hours in my house with him (meaning Trump; editor’s note).” Maxwell replies: “I thought of that too.”

Maxwell recently claimed that she had never seen Trump with any of the girls at Epstein’s house. She is currently in prison for, among other things, sex trafficking of minors and other offenses – most of which were committed together with Epstein – and recently stated that she would like Trump to lift her sentence.

Epstein died in prison in 2019 during Trump’s first presidency – officially by suicide. He was accused of abusing numerous girls and young women and of grooming celebrities.

The current president came under pressure from his own camp in the case because his government did not shed light on the scandal as promised. However, Trump was never proven to have committed any wrongdoing in the affair.

The pressure on Trump could increase further shortly: The newly elected Democratic member of the House of Representatives, Adelita Grijalva, will be sworn in in Washington on Wednesday. With their vote, Republicans and Democrats could adopt a bipartisan petition to release all Epstein files. This requires 218 votes in the House of Representatives; so far, one vote was missing for passage.
