Donald Trump tries to convey a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. But he seems to lose patience with one of the two parties.

US President Donald Trump is hesitant with a view to new sanctions against Russia-but at the same time Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin set an ultimatum. “We will find out whether he will take us around the nose or not – and if he does it, we will react a little differently,” Trump said when he was performed in the White House. He could not say whether Putin actually wanted to end the war, but within “we will find out about it two weeks”.

When asked what will prevent him from imposing a new sanction against Russia, the Republican said: “Only the fact that, if I think I am about to be about a deal, I don’t want to screw it up.” Trump continued that he was “very disappointed with what was happening in the past nights”. People were killed while negotiations had just taken place. “I’m very disappointed with it. Very, very disappointed,” said Trump.

In the past few days, Russia had covered Ukraine with a wave of drone and rocket attacks. According to Kiev, a new maximum of attacks has been recorded since the beginning of the war.

Trump then accused Putin on his Truth Social platform to play with fire. When asked about what consequences he is considering, the Kremlin boss should not steer, Trump replied: “I will not tell you exactly, but the words speak a clear language: we are not, we are not happy about this situation.”
