It remains unclear how the tariff plan for foreign films will be implemented
It is not yet known how Trump will apply customs duties to foreign films. It leads to discussions how such a policy will work or who will be responsible for this tax.
Experts point to the complex structure of the film industry both in terms of construction and distribution, it may be difficult to apply customs duties for films.
Experts, who record that the American film industry has been damaged due to the gradual shift of filmmaking abroad, argues that tariffs may not be a suitable solution in this regard and that incentives such as tax reduction can be presented to reversed the decline in film production in the country.
