Donald Trump regularly provokes with his statements. At a campaign event in Pennsylvania, he verbally attacked Kamala Harris.
He has done it again. At a Republican Party campaign event in the US state of Pennsylvania, presidential candidate Donald Trump railed against his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris.
Trump said Harris is said to have an advantage because of her attractiveness. He added: “I look much better than her. I think I look better than Kamala.” He also made the Democrat’s laugh a topic in his speech. Harris has the “laugh of a madwoman.”
Trump again called Harris a “communist” and portrayed her as a radical leftist. He also sharply attacked US President Joe Biden, claiming that the US was ruled by “stupid people”. Although he was advised not to call his challenger a “madwoman”, he could not think of a better word. “But that’s what she is. A madwoman,” said the former president.
With regard to migration policy, Trump again accused Biden and Harris of allowing criminal “lunatics” into the country across the southern border with Mexico. He also repeated the false claim that his 2020 election victory had been stolen from him. He warned that the same could happen in the 2024 elections.
Pennsylvania is a so-called swing state in which both parties traditionally fight for the vote. After Biden withdrew as the Democratic candidate, Harris quickly caught up in the polls. This puts Trump under increasing pressure.
