Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) announced the trade sales volume index for January.
Accordingly, trade sales volume decreased by 4.1 percent in January compared to the previous month. During this period, the sales volume of sales and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles for repairing the sales volume of 3.3 percent, wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 6.7 percent, while the retail trade sales volume increased by 2 percent.
Trade sales volume increased by 5.3 percent in January compared to the same month last year. In the same period, the sales volume for the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles with wholesale and retail trade decreased by 5 percent, while wholesale trade sales volume was 4.1 percent and retail trade sales volume rose by 12.5 percent.
