The payment period for the second installments of motor vehicle tax (MTV) for this year and income tax for earnings earned in 2025 will end tomorrow.
In the announcement on the website of the Revenue Administration (GIB), information was given regarding the payment processes of the taxes in question.
Accordingly, the payment period for the second installments of MTV for 2026 and income tax for earnings earned in 2025 ends tomorrow.
Installment payments can be made through the Digital Tax Office and the Revenue Administration Mobile Application, through alternative payment channels such as credit and debit cards of contracted banks or bank accounts, or cards belonging to banks operating in foreign countries.
Taxpayers can make MTV payments from the Digital Tax Office without the need for a password by entering one of the information such as license plate, TR ID number and date of registration or ownership certificate.
Payment is also possible from PTT offices and tax offices.
In order to avoid any inconvenience when making online payments, it is important to log in by typing “gib.gov.tr” or the official internet addresses of the banks into the browser.
