The Trust Index decreased by 4.3 percent in the service sector compared to last month, 2.5 percent in retail trade sector and 4.2 percent in the construction sector.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) announced the service, retail trade and construction confidence indices for April.
Accordingly, the trust index, which was free of seasonal effects, decreased by 4.3 percent in the service sector on a monthly basis and became 109.5. In the retail trade sector, it decreased by 2.5 percent to 110.6 and 4.2 percent in the construction sector and 85.1 percent.
Compared to the previous month in the service sector compared to the previous month, the work situation decreased by 6.6 percent in the last three -month period, the demand for services in the last three -month period decreased by 6.9 percent, while the expectation of demand for services in the next three -month period increased by 0.8 percent.
In the retail trade sector, business volume-selling in the last three-month period, 2.6 percent, existing goods stock level 2.4 percent, and the expectation of business volume-selling in the next three-month period fell 2.5 percent.
The current level of the registered orders received in the construction sector decreased by 1.9 percent and the total number of employees in the next three -month period decreased by 6.4 percent.
