Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 0.81 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 11,702.62 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, dropped to 11,702.62 points as of 13:00, with a decrease of 95.08 points and 0.81 percent compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 37.9 billion lira. The banking index lost 0.30 percent and the holding index lost 2.05 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that gained the most was trade with 0.11 percent, and the one that lost the most was securities investment trust with 3.74 percent.
Analysts stated that the data agenda will be calm in the afternoon and noted that technically, 11,800 and 11,900 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance and 11,600 and 11,500 points are support.
