BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost 5.93 percent in the first half of the day and went down to 9.228.79 points.
As of 13.00, the index fell to 9.228.79 points with 582.15 points and 5.93 percent decreased compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 82.7 billion pounds. The banking index depreciated 8.84 percent and the holding index lost 5.53 percent.
While all of the industry indices lost, the most declined 9.45 percent was communication.
