The Moscow Stock Exchange (MOEX) reported that the calculation and publication of the Bitcoin index will begin from tomorrow.
In a written statement from Moex, the decision of the crypto currency Bitcoin was given.
Pointing out that the calculation and publication of the Bitcoin Index as of June 10 will be started, the calculations will be made with data from Binance, Bybit, Okx and Bitget crypto currency exchanges.
Moex has previously started to make futures with Bitcoin for qualified investors.
The decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in August 2024 was made legal to use crypto currencies in international payments and forex transactions.
Due to the sanctions of Western countries, the popularity of crypto currencies in Russia has increased recently, while Russian companies are using crypto currencies from time to time in international payments.
