According to the written statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the animals that the producers who bring their sacrificial animals to the market to sell cannot sell will be purchased by the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK) as carcass meat from the Purchasing Tariff of Sacrificial Animals, which is created by taking into account the producers’ care, feeding and transportation costs.
PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS AT THE LATEST
It is stated that payments to producers who sell their animals to ESK will be made within 3 business days at the latest, and for the convenience of producers, animals can be slaughtered at the slaughterhouse closest to their location.
Producers who want to sell their animals will need to apply to the nearest ESK Combine Directorates between 20-28 June.
It will be sufficient for the producers to apply with the identification information of their animals, the dispatch reports issued by the Provincial and District Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry for the sale of sacrificed animals, and the entrance and rental document of the sacrificed market place.
CARCASE WILL BE PURCHASED AS MEAT
After the necessary checks are made on the TÜRKVET system by the relevant combine directorate, the animals will be purchased as carcass meat in line with the Animal Purchasing Criteria and Implementation Principles Instructions of the ESK.
