The Ministry of Commerce, in the livestock sector, without a significant increase in the cost elements of stocking by making speculative price mobility that caused some companies reported that the follow -up.
The statement said:
“While the Ministry of Commerce continues to eliminate the activities that prevent our citizens from accessing products and to take deterrent measures, our work for elephants that disrupt market balance and free competition by producer, supplier and retail enterprises are continuing.
While the Red Et Per-Der member markets provided by the Meat and Milk Institution were delivered at low prices in all dormitories and EDS stores, the price-increasing attempts of some manufacturers were notified.
Within this framework, some companies, which lead to speculative price mobility in the livestock sector without a significant increase in cost elements and cause consumers to reach the red meat with an exorbitant price, who know the opportunity to reach the Mubarak Ramadan month, were followed by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in coordination.
In red meat, simultaneous inspections have started in our provinces, and administrative sanctions and financial fines will be applied without compromise.
In this context, our Ministry of Commerce Inspectors have been assigned by the Ministry of Commerce to conduct a total of 20 businesses operating in 8 provinces and have started comprehensive inspections at the same time on the early hours of Monday morning, 24.03.2025.
As the Ministry of Commerce invites our companies to behave with sensitivity to present their products at a price compatible with the cost of the consumer, and the required transactions will be established by the Ministry of Commerce about those who make stocking and/or those who want to sell their products at exorbitant prices. Transactions will be shared with the public. “
