The growth of the US economy has exceeded predictions

The US economy, in the fourth quarter of 2024 2.4 percent of the estimated growth has grown.

The US Department of Commerce announced the final data of gross domestic product (GDP) for the October-December 2024 period.

Accordingly, GDP in the USA increased by 2.4 percent annually in the last quarter of last year.

In the period in question, GDP data was upward revision.

It was predicted that the economy grew by 2.3 percent in the last quarter of last year in the last quarter of the last year, in the pioneering data published in January and the second estimate published in February of the country’s GDP data.

The US economy grew by 1.6 percent in the first quarter of last year, 3 percent in the second quarter and 3.1 percent in the third quarter.

The country’s economy grew by 2.8 percent in 2024. The US economy grew by 2.9 percent in 2023.

In the fourth quarter growth of the US economy last year, basically consumer expenditures and increases in public expenditures were effective. In the same period, investments and imports decreased.

In the revision of the fourth quarter of last year, the revision of the GDP was decisive in imports.

In the same period, the increase in the price index of personal consumption expenditures was protected as 2.4 percent. Personal consumption expenditures price index increased by 1.5 percent in the third quarter of last year.

When food and energy expenditures were excluded from the calculation, the core personal consumption expenditures were revised from 2.7 percent to 2.6 percent during this period.

Core Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index increased by 2.2 percent in the previous quarter.
