Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a statement regarding the first exports carried out over TURKSAT 6A within the scope of the “Cabat 2025 Fair” held in Dubai.
Uraloglu, who gave information about the point where Türksat came in the field of satellite services, said that the capacity sale of Türkiye’s first communication satellite Türksat 6A was realized for the sale of West and South Asia with the agreements made in Dubai.
Uraloğlu emphasized that the agreement signed with a Dubai -based company is a historical step in terms of technical ability and commercial success, and that Türksat satellites serve in a wide geography from Western Europe to India and from Central Asia to South Africa.
Reminding that exporting in the field of satellite communication by providing services to many international companies with other satellites before, Uraloğlu said, “Today, we have exported the satellite capacity to the geographies, which is the product of Turkish engineering, which is the product of Turkish engineering for the first time in the east. it is also the registration of Türkiye’s technological sovereignty in space. ” evaluated.

Uraloğlu pointed out that Türksat has become a strong satellite operator not only for Türkiye but also for countries and global markets. Uraloğlu pointed out that the agreement will increase the satellite services income of Türkiye while the agreement of Türksat 6A into the international market.
“Türksat, which can reach 5 billion people in the field of our satellites, offers a much more powerful service in satellite technologies. Türksat can reach 65 percent of the world with its satellite fleet, including Türksat 6a, which is the work of 100 percent Turkish engineering. Uraloğlu underlined that this sales over Türksat 6A has a great sense in terms of commercial export of a national communication satellite developed by Turkish engineers for the first time and said:

We planned our satellite fleet according to international service targets. Today we have seen the concrete result of this planning.
