The “Top 100 Countries by Average IQ 2026” list prepared by the central online testing platform International IQ Test was shared with the public.
The analysis, updated on January 1, 2026, is based on the results of a total of 1 million 212 thousand 714 people who solved the same IQ test throughout 2025. In the study, countries with at least 100 participants were evaluated.
Authorities state that the test consists of questions based on abstract reasoning (Raven type) and that all participants are evaluated on the same scale. However, it is also emphasized that since the data consists of voluntary participants, the list does not exactly represent the general population of the countries.
