Türkiye’s central government budget revenues were calculated as 1 trillion 186 billion 164 million liras in April, and expenses were calculated as 1 trillion 524 billion 891 million liras.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the budget implementation results for April.
Accordingly, in April, budget revenues increased by 23.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1 trillion 186 billion 164 million liras, and budget expenditures increased by 34.7 percent and reached 1 trillion 524 billion 891 million liras.
In the January-April period, budget revenues increased by 54.3 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 5 trillion 191 billion 546 million lira. Budget expenditures increased by 40 percent in the same period, reaching 5 trillion 950 billion 322 million lira.
The central government budget had a deficit of 338 billion 727 million liras in April and 758 billion 776 million liras in the January-April period.
