USA and Russia advise on further Ukraine talks

The Ukraine talks between Russia and the USA could soon go into the next round. A politician will then no longer be there.

According to US information, the foreign ministers of the United States and Russia have spoken about the further procedure in the negotiations on the end of the Ukraine War. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrow had advised on the “next steps” on Saturday after the talks of both countries in Saudi Arabia, the US State Department said. Accordingly, the supporters of Ukraine agreed to exert “collective pressure” on Russia in order to move Moscow to a ceasefire.

The ministry left open when a next round of talks between the USA and Russia could take place in Saudi Arabia. Rubio and Lawrow had agreed to “continue to work on the restoration of communication between the United States and Russia,” it said.
