“Look at me, you miserable coward!” With these words, Michael Fanone is insulted by a man who was part of the mob at the time. The insults come from the “Proud Boys” – a right -wing extremist militia that took part in the storm on the Capitol.
The former police officer was seriously injured in the attack: burns, traumatic brain trauma, cardiac arrest. Now he is shocked by Donald Trump’s decision to pardon the perpetrators.
