BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day with a 0.10 percent increase at 9,377.49 points.
At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose to 9,377.49 points, an increase of 9.72 points and 0.10 percent compared to the previous closing.
While the banking index lost 0.07 percent of its value, the holding index increased by 0.17 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that gained the most was mining with 3.09 percent, and the one that lost the most was banking.
BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul, which followed a buyer trend yesterday, closed the day at 9,367.77 points, gaining 3.72 percent in value.
In global markets, the easing of geopolitical tensions, albeit limited, and the strengthening of pricing that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will cut interest rates at next month’s meeting, support risk appetite, while the intense data agenda to be announced around the world today has become the focus of investors.
Analysts stated that the financial services confidence index in the country and the speech of ECB President Christine Lagarde will be followed today, as well as the growth in Germany and the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data of the manufacturing industry and services sector around the world, and that BIST 100 will be followed technically. He noted that 9,420 and 9,500 points in the index are resistance, while 9,200 and 9,100 levels are support.
