BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day at 13,008.29 points with an increase of 0.40 percent.
BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul, which followed a sales-oriented trend yesterday, finished the day at 12,956.72 points, losing 1.04 percent of its value.
At the opening today, the BIST 100 index increased by 51.57 points and 0.40 percent compared to the previous closing, reaching 13,008.29 points. While the banking index gained 0.54 percent, the holding index remained flat.
Among the sector indices, the one that gained the most was forest paper printing with 1.05 percent, and the one that decreased the most was stone soil with 0.31 percent.
While the ongoing developments in the Middle East are closely followed in global markets, a positive trend stands out due to the rise in technology stocks.
Analysts stated that today the house price index in the country, the Zew economic confidence index in Germany and the Eurozone, the leading index and pending house sales in the USA will be followed abroad, and noted that technically, 13,100 and 13,200 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance and 12,900 and 12,800 points are support.
