BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day at 13,728.70 points with a 0.19 percent increase.
BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul, which followed a buying-oriented trend yesterday, closed the day at 13,703.13 points, gaining 0.11 percent in value.
The index rose to 13,728.70 points at the opening today, with an increase of 25.57 points and 0.19 percent compared to the previous closing. While the banking index gained 0.34 percent in value, the holding index decreased by 0.65 percent.
Among the sector indices, sports gained the most with 1.32 percent, and securities investment trusts lost the most with 0.74 percent.
Global markets are having difficulty finding direction with the ADP private sector employment announced in the USA yesterday falling below expectations and concerns about artificial intelligence controls.
Analysts stated that weekly money and bank statistics in the country and unemployment benefit applications and wholesale stocks in the USA will be followed abroad today, and noted that technically, 13,900 and 14,000 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance, and 13,600 and 13,500 points are support.
