BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 1.43 percent in the first half of the day and reached 13,884.32 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in an upward trend in the first half of the day, rose to 13,884.32 points as of 13:00, an increase of 195.32 points and 1.43 percent compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 90.5 billion lira. The banking index gained 1.97 percent and the holding index gained 1.55 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that increased the most was forest paper printing with 3.56 percent, and the only one that lost value was textile leather with 0.56 percent.
While the decrease in concerns in global markets that the temporary ceasefire between the USA and Iran may be broken increased the risk appetite, investors’ focus turned to the inflation data to be announced in the USA.
The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul remained positive in the first half of the day due to the decrease in concerns about geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
Analysts stated that the domestic data agenda will be calm for the rest of the day, while inflation in the USA, Michigan University Consumer Confidence Index, durable goods orders and federal budget balance will be followed abroad, and stated that technically, 13,900 and 14,000 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance and 13,800 and 13,700 points are support.
