Hamas: Will release six hostages on Saturday

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the agreement with Hamas. Finally, four other corpses of hostages should be handed over next week, the statement said. However, no information was given on the fate of the Bibas family.

Al-Haja also said that the other corpses should be handed over to the ceasefire in the sixth week. The step takes place as a continuation of the efforts to successful the first phase of the ceasefire agreement with Israel. He also spoke of preparations for discussions about a second phase of the ceasefire. In return, Israel has to release Palestinian prisoners as agreed.

According to the Hamas, two Israelis, which had been captured in the Gaza Strip for around a decade, are also among the six freely hostage.

Since the beginning of the ceasefire in the Gaza War on January 19, the Islamists have released 19 hostages in several rounds. In addition, five Thai people kidnapped from Israel were released regardless of the agreement.
