After hundreds of deaths in the Gaza Strip, the right-nationalist party Otzma Yehudit returns to the Israeli government. A ceasefire now seems to be lost.

The ultra -right Israeli party Otzma Jehudit returns to the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahus Conservative Likud party said on Tuesday that Otzma Yehudit (Jewish strength) would again enter the government alliance. The ministers would also return to the cabinet.

According to the Hamas Ministry of Health, at least 413 people were killed in the current attacks on destinations in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli government said that the attacks were a reaction to “Hamas’ repeated refusal to leave our hostages free”. The Hamas accused Netanyahu of resuming the war. The return to the fights could mean the “death sentence” for the remaining hostages in the Gaza Strip.
