Non -agricultural employment exceeded expectations in the USA

In April, non -agricultural employment in the United States increased by 177,000 expectations, but US President Donald Trump’s aggressive customs duty policy increases the economic uncertainty, expectations for the employment market are getting worse.

The data announced as 228,000 last month was revised to 185,000. 76 economists participating in the Reuters survey were waiting for non -agricultural employment to increase in April 130,000.

Participation in the labor force rose from 62.5 percent to 62.6 percent in April.

The US Department of Labor announced that the unemployment rate of April is 4.2 percent. Last month, the unemployment rate was announced as 4.2 percent.

Economists who participated in the Reuters survey predicted that the unemployment rate would remain at 4.2 percent.

The average hourly fees in the USA fell to 0.2 percent in April. Expectations were that the hourly wages would increase by 0.3 percent.

The annual increase in average hourly wages did not change at the previous month’s 3.8 percent.
