The law regarding amendments to tax laws was accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on July 28 and published in the Official Gazette on August 2.
Some articles of the law will enter into force on September 1.
Accordingly; the temporary article providing premium support to EYT holders will be removed on September 1.
Thus, the 5 percent Social Security Support Premium right provided to employers for those who retired within the framework of the EYT regulation and work in the same workplace will end.
The temporary 95th article added to the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law in accordance with Article 30 of the law will also be abolished.
The premium, which was covered by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance from March 1, 2023, when the EYT law came into force, until this month, will now be paid by the employer.
