The Ministry of Treasury and Finance completed the first stage of the activities to carry out lease agreements through the e-government gate in November 2024.
In the current application, the contract can be approved by the tenant by the real persons in the “Lease Agreement Transactions” section of the E-Government Gate.
For the lease contracts created through the service, the “barcode document” with time stamped can be created and the document verification can be made through the e-government gate.

In the second stage of the study, the end of the study, the lease agreement service from the E-Government was opened for real estate agents today.
All Real Estate Consultants Association (TEDB) President Hakan Akçam said that the tenant and the landlord can sign the lease by meeting in the e-government environment, but real estate consultants were not included in this process.

Stating that the updates and arrangements related to the system continue, Akçam said that the wet signature of the guarantor should be found in the lease contract according to the Code of Obligations and that the studies are continuing.
Pointing out that the problems between the landlord and the tenant will be solved if the lease contracts are required to be made via e-government, Akçam added that the fraud events will be prevented.
