WhatsApp started testing a new feature that makes it easier to spot people online with the 2.26.24.5 beta version released for Android.
With the new update, a green dot is displayed in the profile photos of people who are online.
This indicator, which currently only appears on the chat information screen, aims to help users understand at a glance whether a person is currently available or not.
Another feature that WhatsApp has already started testing is a special section where people who are online will be listed. Thanks to this section, users will be able to see the people who are currently active or have recently used the application on a single screen.
