BİK Analytical system, which measures the visitor traffic of internet news sites within the scope of the Press Advertisement Agency; It was restructured taking into account visitor behavior, device diversity and developments in access channels.
Measurement methods in RCC Analytical Version 2; While it was revised to include new generation device and application architectures and current monitoring and verification needs, parameters reflecting visitors’ news reading behavior and interaction level were included in the measurement criteria.
The development and testing processes of the new infrastructure were carried out in coordination with the existing system in order to avoid any interruption in the measurement operation. In this context, internet news sites were simultaneously monitored via the Version 2 infrastructure and the functioning of the system was evaluated.
The policy document for the new version will be published on July 6, 2026. The transition process will be carried out gradually throughout July, taking into account broadcast categories. Version 2 measurements will start to be taken as basis on internet news sites in the General Category as of July 10, and transitions in other Categories are planned to be completed by the end of the month.
Written notifications will also be made to online news sites regarding technical guidance, procedures to be implemented and the transition schedule.
