PetPhone works like a real mini smartphone worn around the pet’s neck. The owner can call the device from his own phone and make his voice heard by his pet.
This feature can be used, for example, to calm the animal when a storm is approaching or just to send a short greeting.
The device also makes it possible to initiate calls. The pet can be trained to perform certain movements. For example, the sensors can automatically initiate a phone call when they detect three jumps within 6 seconds.
There is no SIM card inside the device for network connection. Instead, it operates via cloud infrastructure and connectivity is provided through agreements with 390 mobile operators operating in more than 200 countries and regions around the world.
Other features
The GPS system in the device allows precise tracking of the pet’s location. This way, the animal can be easily found if lost.
In addition, the system tracks the pet’s movements, calculates the distance traveled during walking, and estimates the approximate calories burned.
The artificial intelligence in the device constantly monitors the pet’s physical parameters. If an unusual situation is detected, such as less movement than normal, the system sends a warning to the owner and recommends that he go to the veterinarian.
