Evaluating the Economic Confidence Index announced today, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek said that macroeconomic fundamentals have been strengthened with the policies they implemented.
Şimşek said that real sector confidence has reached the highest level since October 2023.
Minister Şimşek’s evaluation is as follows;
“The Economic Confidence Index exceeded the threshold value with 100.7 in February. The index, which reflects the evaluations of all sectors, shows the positive perception of the economic situation and the improvement in expectations.
The fact that real sector confidence has reached the highest level since October 2023 indicates that the recovery in the manufacturing industry outlook is gaining strength.
“With the policies we implement, we strengthen macroeconomic foundations while increasing predictability.”
