Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek made a statement for the financing of 757.1 million euros provided by the World Bank within the scope of Türkiye Irrigation Modernization-2 project.
Minister Şimşek said that they also support supply -sided policies in the disinflation process.
Minister Şimşek’s statement is as follows;
“The financing we provided from the World Bank for the modernization of the irrigation infrastructure exceeded 1 billion euros.
We prioritize public infrastructure investments in irrigation in order to evaluate the potential in the agricultural sector, strengthen food supply security and contribute to price stability.
The disinflation process is not only by demanding policies; We also support the supply -point measures we apply in areas such as food, housing and energy. “
