Minister Şimşek announced: We saved 484 billion TL in the public sector

Minister Şimşek, in his statement on his social media account, said:

“Our determination to save money in the public sector is yielding results. Within the scope of the measures, we saved 484 billion TL in the 2024-2025 period. This amount exceeds the total budget of six ministries for 2026. We use public resources more effectively and make the savings approach permanent. We will continue to use the resources we provide in priority areas by strengthening the spending discipline,” he said.
