Economists participating in the AA Finans’ expectation survey, in July, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) is expected to reduce the policy interest of 250 basis points to 43.50 percent.
AA Finans’ Monetary Policy Committee (PPK) meeting of the CBRT on Thursday, July 24, resulted in the participation of 21 economists.
11 of the economists participating in the expectation survey, 250 basis points in the policy interest, 4 300 basis points, 6 350 basis points will be reduced. The July PPK decision of the economists in July was to reduce the policy interest rate of the media interest to 43.50 percent.
The media of economists’ expectations of the year -end policy interest was 35 percent. At the PPK meeting held in June, the policy interest was not changed and kept constant at 46 percent.
