Despite conversations about a comprehensive ceasefire, Russia continues to attack Ukrainian hinterland in his war. A rocket attack on the city of Krywyj Rih has devastating consequences.
According to the authorities, at least 16 people have been killed in the Southeast Tukrainian industrial city of Krywyj Rih. “There are also six children among them,” wrote Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj near Telegram. According to the military administration, more than 50 other people have been violated. The attack was carried out with a ballistic rocket.
An ordinary city had been hit that the blow was led against a busy street and residential buildings, complained Selenskyj. “There is only one reason why this continues: Russia doesn’t want a fire break and we see it.” The Ukrainian head of state called for the pressure on Moscow: America, Europe and the rest of the world had enough opportunities to force Russia to hire terror and war.
Cars and garages were on fire and multi -storey residential buildings were damaged, explained regional governor Serhij Lyssak. The number of victims is likely to increase. President Selenskyj’s hometown is a good 70 kilometers from the front line.
The Russian military later confirmed the blow against Krywyj Rih. Moscow, however, spoke of a “high -precision strike”. A restaurant was hit in which Ukrainian commanders had met with Western instructors. “Due to the blow, the opponent’s losses were 85 soldiers and officers of foreign states,” says the press release. In addition, around 20 military vehicles were destroyed. Moscow made no information about civilian victims. There were no evidence of military goals on the Ukrainian side of the attack.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for over three years.
