BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, dropped to 13,317.29 points as of 13:00, with a decrease of 20.40 points and 0.15 percent compared to the previous closing.
Total transaction volume was 64.1 billion lira. While the banking index gained 0.62 percent, the holding index lost 1.60 percent.
Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was mining with 2.20 percent, and the biggest loser was financial leasing factoring with 9.14 percent.
Analysts stated that the foreign exchange assets and liabilities of companies other than the financial sector in the country and the Richmond Fed manufacturing industry index in the USA will be followed abroad for the rest of the day, and noted that technically, 13,200 and 13,100 points in the BIST 100 index are support, while 13,500 and 13,600 points are resistance.
