Kyiv attacked again with ballistic missiles

The Russian military is attacking Kyiv again with ballistic missiles. Fires break out in the east of the city. There are dead and injured.

The Russian military has again attacked targets in the Ukrainian capital Kiev with ballistic missiles. Two people were killed and the number of injured rose to twelve, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram. There had previously been talk of at least eight injuries.

It was also said that several fires had broken out in the eastern part of the city of three million people. According to unofficial information, thermal power plants located there were once again the target of the attack. There was briefly an air alert throughout the country due to a possible use of a medium-range ballistic missile by Russia.

Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion with Western help for more than three and a half years.
