North Korea’s ruler Kim Jong Un and his daughter have recently appeared together in public – now also at the shooting range. Experts have been puzzling over the girl and her role for a long time.
It is believed that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wants to groom his daughter as a political successor. Now photos from the North Korean state news agency KCNA show him testing his skills at the shooting range with the girl – whose age is estimated to be 13 years old – during an inspection. Both wear black leather jackets and examine pistols, which they then try out at the shooting range. According to official information, the two visited the ammunition factory on Wednesday.
The KCNA report did not mention Kim’s daughter, only members of the Central Military Commission of the isolated country subject to UN sanctions over its nuclear weapons program who accompanied him. The name and age of Kim’s daughter are not officially known. According to former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman, who met Kim in person in North Korea in 2013, her name is Ju Ae.
