In the United States, Health Minister Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has released all members of a committee (ACIP) of vaccination experts from the US disease authority CDC and is now re -ing the committee. This was announced by the US Health Ministry on Monday (local time). “The public must know that the recommendations of our health authorities are based on impartial science that is evaluated in a transparent procedure and does not get into conflicting interests,” Kennedy is quoted in the declaration of the Ministry of Health. The minister had recalled all 17 members of the advisory committee for vaccination practices and has already been in the process of looking for new members as a replacement, the ministry continued.

Kennedy claims that the committee is full of conflicts, has never rejected a vaccine and that the decision on the approval of vaccines in the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was. The committee advises the CDC about which groups of people would benefit most from an already approved vaccine and when to get it. “This is a tragedy,” said former FDA chief scientist Jesse Goodman about the layoffs. “This is a highly professional group of scientists, doctors and other specialists. This is the kind of political interference that is more weakening than strengthening trust.”

Kennedy, who has been questioning the security and effectiveness of vaccines for many years and causes claims that contradict scientific knowledge, claims that most committees are financed by pharmaceutical manufacturers. However, the ACIP members are obliged to disclose all potential or supposed conflicts of interest as well as all relevant business interests, management positions or other connections to organizations.

Because of the protests against President Donald Trump’s migration policy, the US Department of Defense ordered around 700 marine fans of the regular armed forces to Los Angeles. This was announced by the responsible regional command. Read more here.

So far, the US President has not explicitly excluded the use of the regular marine fans of the regular armed forces. Most recently, however, he said he assumed that the situation in Los Angeles was good under control.
