EA Sports announced last year that it would not release a standalone Formula 1 video game for 2026. Instead, the studio is working on an entirely new F1 game for the 2027 season.
In this process, a special update package for the 2026 season will be released. This update; It will include content such as the addition of Audi and Cadillac to the grid and the new Spanish Grand Prix circuit in Madrid, and will be playable across the existing F1 25 game.
Audi and Cadillac will also officially participate in the race for the first time, thus increasing the number of in-game teams to 11. Players will then be able to add a custom 12th team in the “My Team” mode.
Also included is the new Madring circuit in Madrid, which will host the Spanish Grand Prix later this year.
EA Sports is expected to announce more details about the update on Wednesday, May 20, and the package is expected to be released in the summer.
