The research on the effect of artificial intelligence in Germany on employment revealed the frightening facts.
It is stated that one out of every four companies in Germany expects to have layoffs within the next 5 years due to the use of artificial intelligence.
The Economic Research Institute (IFO), headquartered in Munich, explained the results of the questionnaire in which the effect of artificial intelligence use on employment is investigated for German companies.
Accordingly, 27.1 percent of the companies expect the use of artificial intelligence to cause layoffs in the next 5 years. While only 5.2 percent of companies foresee additional employment thanks to artificial intelligence, two -thirds do not expect any changes.
