The Israeli government has confirmed the ceasefire with Iran. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet that Israel had reached all war goals, “and even far beyond,” said Netanyahu’s office. Therefore, Israel agreed to the proposal of US President Donald Trump for a ceasefire with Iran.

Shortly before, the mighty revolutionary guards had fired six rocket salvings on Israel. According to a local ambulance service in Be’er Scheva, at least five people were killed, 20 others were injured. Iran’s state broadcasting reported that it was a last attack before the start of the ceasefire. It was the longest Iranian rocket attack wave since the beginning of the war. In the meantime, the population can leave the shelters, the army said.

First of all, Iran will let the weapons be silent for twelve hours, then Israel for twelve hours, Trump had written on social truth at night. After that, the war was ended. That would be Wednesday morning (MESZ).

It is uncertain whether the war will really be ended. According to military information, the Israeli Air Force has attacked and destroyed rocket shot ramps in the west of Iran in the west. The launch ramps were ready for attacks in the Israeli area, the statement said. The defense attacks took place as part of the last Iranian rocket attack wave.

In the communication of the Israeli government, it was said that “a double, immediate existential threat was removed – both in the area of the Iranian nuclear program and the ballistic rockets”.

The Israeli army has also “achieved full air sovereignty over Tehran, hit the military leadership heavily and destroyed dozens of central government goals in Iran,” it said. Israel thank you Trump and the USA “for their support in defense and their participation in eliminating the Iranian atomic threat”.

Israel will react to every violation of the ceasefire with all hardness, it said. The Israeli population is called to continue to follow the instructions of the home protection command until the complete implementation of the ceasefire was confirmed.

Trump’s announcement of the ceasefire took place a few hours after Iran had fired rockets to a US air base in Qatar as a retaliation for the US bombing of the Iranian nuclear systems. Nobody was harmed. The air defense shot off the rockets of Iran.

According to Trump, the Iranians had warned the United States before the attack – so it seemed more to be a symbolic act of retaliation from the start. Further blows against US bases should hardly be expected.

The ceasefire was “imposed” for the enemy, it said on Iranian state television. The Israeli military had called for the residents in the center of the capital and metropolis in one area of several blocks to flee at night. The army warned in Persian on the platform X of upcoming air raids and published corresponding cards. The call should have reached only a few people in view of an almost complete internet lock and the time. Explosions were reported from the Iranian capital Tehran at night.
