Israel’s air force says it is hitting command centers and weapons depots in Iran. At the same time, Iran is firing rockets towards Israel again.

According to the army, Israel’s air force has again attacked military targets belonging to the Iranian government. A command center of the Quds Brigades of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards was hit in the capital Tehran and a weapons production and storage site in Isfahan, an army statement said. Israeli fighter jets also targeted other positions in the area of the city of Shiraz. The attacks have now been completed.

The Quds Force is the foreign branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. According to Israel’s army, they are also responsible for supplying weapons throughout the region.

Israel’s army also announced in the evening that it had attacked six important military air bases in Iran the night before. Among other things, Iranian attack helicopters were destroyed. The Israeli military said these attacks hampered Iran’s ability to counter Israel’s air force and rearm itself. Iran’s leadership also used the airfields to arm militias such as Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Iran fired rockets at Israel again in the evening. There were initially no reports of victims.
