Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu shared his social media account regarding the deducting the policy interest of the Central Bank.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Central Bank has attracted the policy interest of 2.5 points to 42.5 percent, thus pointing out that a total discount of 7.5 points in 3 months.
Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that banks immediately reflect these discounts to deposit interest rates and said:
“However, commercial loan interest rates do not descend at the same rate. What do they expect to reduce commercial loan interest rates? We expect to reflect this discount on SME loan interest rates, to support production, investment and employment. The limitations brought to commercial loan growth increase the costs in the economy and restrict the supply.
