Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 37.86 percent annually and increased by 3.00 percent monthly.

Change in CPI increased by 3.00 percent in April 2025 compared to the previous month, an increase of 13.36 percent compared to December of the previous year, an increase of 37.86 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and a 48.73 percent increase compared to twelve -month averages.

CPI increased by 36.09 percent annually in food and non -alcoholic beverages.

Annual changes of 3 main expenditure groups with the highest weight; 36.09 percent increase in food and non -alcoholic beverages, an increase of 22.76 percent in transportation and 74.07 percent in housing.

The effects of the main groups on the annual change were 9.21 percent in food and non -alcoholic beverages, 3.84 percent in transportation and 9.98 percent in housing.

CPI food and non -alcoholic beverages increased by 2.01 percent monthly.

Monthly changes of 3 main expenditure groups with the highest weight; Food and non -alcoholic beverages increased by 2.01 percent, an increase of 3.80 percent in transportation and a 4.66 percent increase in housing. The effects of the main groups on the monthly change were 0.51 percent in food and non -alcoholic beverages, 0.57 percent in transportation and 0.74 percent in housing.

As of April 2025, the index of 18 basic titles declined from 143 basic headings (individual consumption classification-CoICOP 5-level level according to purpose), while there was no change in the index of 4 basic titles. The increase in the index of the 121 basic title increased.

Special Comprehensive CPI indicator (B) increased by 36.81 percent annually and increased by 3.10 percent monthly.

The change in the CPI, except for non -processed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages and tobacco and gold, increased by 3.10 percent in April 2025 compared to the previous month, an increase of 12.71 percent compared to December of the previous year, 36.81 percent increase compared to the same month of the previous year and 47.82 percent increase compared to twelve -month averages.
