According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) data, the price increase in passenger transportation by air was followed by 22.82 percent games of chance and electricity with 20.8 percent.
Other products with the highest price in April, fresh fruits with 19.84 percent, potatoes with 15.57 percent, 13.22 percent between cities through land transportation and 9.13 percent of fresh fish took place.
– Fresh vegetables (except potatoes) were cheaper
Last month, the highest price decrease was realized in fresh vegetables (except potatoes) with 17.32 percent. This was followed by 5.08 percent products related to pets, pasta varieties with 1.81 percent, beer with 1.31 percent, canned or processed fish with 1.3 percent.
According to TURKSTAT’s consumer prices index, the most increasing prices on the monthly basis in April and their rates of change compared to the previous month are as follows:
