APPLICATIONS THAT ALLOW COMMUNICATION WITH STRANGERS ARE ALSO TARGET
In addition to the ban on popular platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram, Starmer emphasized that they will also take action against gaming and live broadcast services that allow children to talk to strangers.
Stating that the government already has the necessary legal powers to initiate this ban process, Starmer announced that the legal regulations will be completed by the end of the year and the ban will actually come into force next spring.
