The Clintons also appear in the Epstein files. Now Hillary Clinton is speaking out about her husband’s contacts with the sex offender. And she criticizes Donald Trump.
“You know, thousands of people, some of them very well-known, are mentioned in the files,” Hillary Clinton told “Spiegel.” “A mention should not lead you to draw any conclusions, because that requires evidence.” When asked about Bill Clinton’s relationship with Epstein, the politician said: “He wasn’t close to him.”
Epstein committed suicide in prison in 2019. He had previously been convicted of abusing minors. US President Donald Trump also came under criticism because of speculation about Epstein’s network and contacts with the New York businessman. Investigation files on the case were therefore disclosed in several stages. Most recently at the beginning of January.
The Clintons also appear in the documents. Especially Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton now told “Spiegel” about Epstein’s relationship with her husband: “He took Epstein’s plane a few times to visit charitable projects, and that was years before Epstein was found guilty. Epstein hid his crimes until he was convicted.”
