Report: Hamas ready for the handover of power in Gaza

The Islamists rule the coastal stripes since 2007. Israel does not want to rest until the group is destroyed. Now Hamas brings a handover of power into play.
According to a media report, Hamas is ready to hand over its power to another Palestinian authority in the Gaza Strip. The Islamist organization has signaled its willingness to hand over the government in the coastal strip to a Palestinian authority such as the Palestinian autonomy authority or a new organization to be created in West Bank, the BBC quoted a rank -high Palestinian official. An agreement must previously be reached through the future government at the national and regional level.
Hamas has been in the Gaza Strip since 2007. However, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already excluded a role in the Palestinian Authority in a future government in Gaza.
In the meantime, the intermediaries in the indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas present a new proposal about a new ceasefire and the release of the hostages captured in the Gaza Strip. The draft, elaborated by Egypt and Qatar, sees a five to seven -year -old ceasefire, the full deduction of the Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip and the release of all Israeli hostages in an exchange against Palestinian prisoners, the BBC reported on the Palestinian official committed with the negotiations.
Warning of Israelis abroad before “Anger Day”
Most recently, Hamas had rejected an Israeli proposal for a 45-day fire break for the release of ten hostages because he did not see the end of the war. The last ceasefire phase ended a month ago after Israel and Hamas could not have agreed on the modalities for the next phase. The Israeli forces then resumed their massive attacks in the Gaza Strip.
In view of a “day of anger” planned today, the National Security Council of Israelis has called for caution abroad. Hamas had called for solidarity scouts worldwide with the Palestinians. “These protests and demonstrations can escalate in violence that is directed against Israelis,” said the security council warning. “There is also concern that supporters of terrorist groups or individual offenders could try to use the protests as an opportunity for attacks.”
The National Security Council advised Israelis abroad to avoid demonstrations, not to show Israeli symbols in public and to follow the instructions of the local security forces.
The Israeli domestic secretary head of Ronen Bar raised a serious allegations against the head of government in the conflict with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which has been going on for weeks. Netanyahu asked him to have personal loyalty, the newspaper “The Times of Israel” quoted from an affidavit that the head of the domestic intelligence service Schin Bet had submitted to the court. According to his family, Israeli settlers had previously set fire to the man’s farm. The Palestinian then came to extinguish the fire. According to his relatives, soldiers are said to have used tear gas against the man.
The information could initially not be checked independently. On request, Israel’s army announced that Palestinians had thrown stones in riots. Israeli settlers had lit several buildings, tires and trees in the area of the Palestinian village. A Palestinian was arrested. The Israeli military did not mention the use of tear gas. Even a possible fatalities did not provide the army at first.
